As co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of BRCM, Jack focuses primarily on investment research, portfolio management, and business development. Prior to BRCM, he spent the early years of his career in the litigation consulting industry, advising companies and individuals on issues including business valuation, economic damages analysis, and forensic accounting. After switching to the investment management industry and spending three years as a research analyst at Tru Independence Asset Management, Jack joined BRCM co-founder Philip Bagdade at Baker Ellis Asset Management, where he served as a portfolio manager for high-net-worth clients.
Jack graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Economics from the University of Oregon in 2010 and received an MBA from the University of Oregon in 2012. He is also a CPA and has earned the CFA designation. A four-year letter winner in college, Jack still competes in high-level amateur golf tournaments, but his true joy in life is spending time with his wife, two young children, and two dogs (as well as perusing academic journals for the most recent investment research).
